The ADF / COMIDENT partnership
Up until 1999, the French Dental Association and the Comident separately organised two disctinct annual trade shows, one being the Exhibition of the ADF Congress, the other, the trade fair known as Sitad.
However, most of the exhibitors – two-thirds of which often participated in both trade shows – had expressed the desire for one single event. The ADF and the Comident accordingly signed an agreement in 1999 to organise a joint exhibition, which has the advantage of reducing costs for exhibitors and, above all, of enabling visitors to find all the products and services presented during both professional fairs at the same time, in the same venue. This partnership has also helped the Congress welcome even more members of the dental profession, including dental assistants, dental technicians and representatives of the dental industry as well as dentists.
The ADF Congress now provides the dental community with all the necessary means to better prepare for coming evolutions. It has thus become one of Europe's major dental events and acquired the international status it deserves.
